A clear line between platform and transaction
Trust in every connection
Trust is the layer that turns interest into a connection. Members can choose to verify their ID. Kakara makes clear what the Verified badge means, and exactly what Kakara does and does not do.
Optional ID verification
Members can verify their identity with their National Identification Number (NIN) through a licensed verification provider. A blue Verified badge means the person's identity was confirmed. It relates to the person, not the vehicle. Verification is optional, and Kakara does not store NIN numbers.
Privacy first
Your phone number stays private. Before you Connect, the VIN is hidden and no contact details are shown. Numbers are shared only if both of you agree to move to WhatsApp.
Clear boundaries
Kakara makes the introduction, the deal is yours. Inspection, valuation, any cash difference and the legal transfer of ownership happen directly between you and the other party.
Report an Issue
If something doesn't feel right, use Report an Issue in the app. Our Trust & Safety team reviews every report and can restrict or remove accounts that break the rules.
